As part of the family at Performance EDU, we want to keep you in the loop with the latest news and updates. This week we would like to officially welcome 3 new members to the Performance EDU team….

Ralph Rodriguez
Performance Coach

A lot of you have gotten to know Ralph Rodriguez over the last month as he’s been coaching the AM Group #GAINZ class every Monday and Wednesday! Ralph has  been a personal trainer, group fitness instructor, and massage therapist in the Reno/Tahoe area for the last 6 years. Form, Function, and Movement Mechanics are the secret sauce here at Performance EDU and Ralph compliments the team, by bringing his experience in sports stretching, deep tissue, therapeutic, spa and prenatal massage to the table! Read Ralph’s Full Bio HERE.

Rachel Koester
Performance Coach

The newest member to the team is Rachel Koester, some of you had the opportunity to meet her last week! We are excited to welcome Rachel to the team as she not only has 6 years experience as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor but is also a certified Fitness Nutrition Specialist (NASM), Corrective Exercise Specialist (NASM), and TRX Level 2 Qualified trainer. Shyla Pheasant
Director of Marketing & Public Relations

Most of you know Shyla, as she has been a member of Performance EDU for 2 years; however, we’d like to formally welcome her to the team as our part-time Director of Marketing and Public Relations! Shyla has managed various economic, entrepreneurial, and community development projects and marketing initiatives over the last 4 years and has a passion for health & fitness! Movement Mechanics Library & Group Goalz Board

As most of you know, at Performance EDU we’re all about personalized programming and emphasis on quality, form and function; with a limit of 15 people per. group class (don’t forget to RSVP ahead of time) so that our trainers can provide quality feedback during your workout. In addition, we have also introduced the Group Goalz Board and would encourage group members to participate it so that we can continue to personalize your experience!

The purpose of the board is to share your personal goals over the next 3 months and indicate any muscle groups where you’ve been sore, stiff, or tight. From there, Ryan Golec (our Movement Mechanics Director) will assign individual movement mechanic videos for you to watch and utilize outside of class. In the very right column, you’ll notice numbers that correlate to video titles listed on the white boards above the foam rolling station, as well as online. You can write those numbers down, and reference our Movement Mechanix Library online!  If you have any questions, please email Ryan Golec, rgolec@performancedu.com.
